Vince decided to learn acoustic guitar at 51 so that his grandchildren would have live music in their lives at an early age. His timing was good as the first of his 8 (soon to be 9) grandchildren was born when he was 52. Songwriting never crossed his mind until he wrote "The Chocolate Boys" for Matthew and Adam. Since then he has been writing songs for each grandchild. Vince enjoyed writing songs for his grandchildren so much that he began writing songs for his own amusement. He is thankful for the Songwriters Workshop for their support, encouragement and insightful critiques, but most of all for being a true songwriting community in the best sense of the word.
