One of my brothers has a genetic disease called Stargardt's Disease. It is a juvenile form of macular degeneration. He is now legally blind, but he still juggles fire. He also kept up his sketching moving from colored chalks to charcoal as he lost his color vision. In spite of his increasing darkness, he lives life to the fullest and is an inspiration. I wrote this song to honor his life's journey. Currently he is studying the harmonica and is starting a swing band that will perform in the Chicago area. Rock on, Blind Man!!
