 The moon was dancing on the water

A gentle breeze caressed  your hair

We walked together on the sand

As if no one else was there

When you put your hand in mine

Something changed in me

A door was opened deep inside

A lock had found its key

 When you touch me

I feel connected to eternity

Today replaces all my used to be’s

My heart believes in things I’ve never seen

When you touch me

All my loneliness just disappears

You put  joy in all my tears

It feels so good to just be here

When you touch me

 Sometimes I lie awake in your arms

‘Cause when I feel you close to me

I’m like a child on Christmas Eve

I don’t want to sleep

Every morning is a new day

But, one thing has remained                                    

Your touch still holds me together

And that will never change
