Calling in Sick

Don't wanna get up; need to sleep a little more,

Monsters in the night threw my credit cards on the floor,

Any way, my head is splitting, go to work?

You must be kidding!

Calling in sick; calling in lazy,

calling in drunk; calling in crazy,

I got the flu, I got the plague,

calling in dead like the doctor said,

Just can't do another day of overwork and underpay,

Can't afford to quit so I'm calling in sick.

The house (wife) is a wreck, got beer stains on my shirt

Can't find my shoes or the phone to call into work,

Meanwhile the clock is ticking; I could email;

That's what I'm thinking.

        REPEAT CHORUS

Where's my cigars?  Where's my booze?

Who’s that in my bed wearing my shoes?

Any way, my head is splitting, go to work? You must be kidding!.

Calling in sick; calling in lazy, calling in drunk; calling in crazy,

I got the flu, I got the plague, calling in dead like the doctor said,

Just can't do another day of overwork and underpay,

Just can't do another day of overwork and underpay,

Gotta tell 'em there's no way

Can't afford to quit so I'm calling in sick.

Can't afford to quit so I'm calling in sick.......calling in sick....
