That’s What I Like About Christmas

Jingle bells are ringing, carolers singing,
Children giggling in the snow,
Eggnog brimming, trees with trimming,
Lights a-shimmering, all a glow,
Sending greeting cards, snowmen in our yards,
Red bows on front of cars, decorated boulevards,
That’s what I like about Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la la,
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la.
It’s time to visit friends, everyone is kinder then,
So happy when Christmas comes,
We’re all wearing grins, wrapping gifts, making things,
Ornaments and paper rings, oh what fun,
Turkey with stuffing, families loving,
Joy discovering, angels hovering,
That’s what I like about Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la la,
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la.
And when I think what Christmas really means,
I am overjoyed that Jesus was born for me.
No room for strangers, born in a manger,
Wise men who were from afar,
Shepherds watch-a-keeping, cattle peeping,
Baby sleeping under a star,
Angels singing, hail the baby king,
Mankind repenting, changing everything,
That’s what I like about Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la la,
Christmas, Christmas, fa la la la.
Jingle bells are ringing, carolers singing,
Children giggling in the snow,
Eggnog brimming, trees with trimming,
Lights a-shimmering, all a glow,
That’s what I like about Christmas.
