Michael wrote the lyric - it was one of his first - and I wrote the melody and the chord progression.  And then Bryce changed the title and began singing the wrong lyrics, so you will find a little discrepance between what you hear and what you read.  The written lyrics are correct.  The sung lyrics make sense only in Bryce's head.  But that's just one of his eccentricities that endears him to us.

What is the song about?  Well..ask Michael.  I think it makes sense, but he doesn't agree with my interpretation, and he wrote the lyric.
