If I were my woman

Would i get us off to church on sunday morning

would i realize when the babies cries its that time again

And get up quietly and taker her to the nursery

If i were my woman

 

Would i give the kids there tenth and final warning

Your dads asleep up in the loft quiet now its his day off

Give them ice cream when they start to scream

If i were my woman

 

Would i keep that empty bottle of wine 

The one we drank on our wedding night

And everytime i reminisce would i still get all teared eyed

Would I not rub it in when i know Im right

Do anything to avoid the fight

Or would i just grin in and kiss myself goodnight

Would i cherish each and every tender moment

Would i sit and cut those pictures out

Fit them in that book somehow

Forgive the stupid me 

That missed our anniversary
