Some Assembly Required

When God made man
He said I think I'm done
Right outa the box
Man was ready to run
But when God made woman
He must have made a kit
Shades and styles and  parts and puzzle pieces to be fit

(Chorus)
You see there's
Ten shades of lipstick
Painted fingers, painted toes
Mascara, liner, all them colors all them clothes

Necklace, rings, and nylons
Hair up, then sometimes down
A fancy dress or evening gown
Just thinking 'bout it makes me tired
But it was in our license fine print
There's some assembly required

Now and then my wife and I
Go out on the town
Starts out with her upstairs
And my impatient sounds
Later when she's finished and we're 20 minutes late
I think as she comes down, man that was worth the wait

(repeat chorus)

(bridge)
I don't know how she does it
There's no instruction sheet
I guess her body is a palette
And she's an artiste

In my tux I walking my daughter down the aisle
We're 30 minutes late and I have to smile
Her young man checks his watch surreptitiously
So much he needs to learn about female complexity

(repeat chorus)
