» Who He's Holding Now

Our first co-write with Horipro writer Matt Caldwell.  Tim Skeen and I brought this melody to him that we wrote in open C tuning.  Matt loved it and agreed to help us write it... Problem is, by then Tim and I each had our own version of the song going. It was funny, becuase Tim was writing my hook "Some Memories have a Mind of their Own." and I was writing his. "Who He's Holding Now".Matt chose Hoding Now to write and we cranked it out in two sessions in Nashville. Matt later sang the demo with the help of his guitar player extrodinair and producer Nate Barrett.

Matt recently signed a deal with one of the biggest producers in Nashville. Jimmy Ritchie and they are working on a big project for Matt. Tim and I are so honored to be writing with him.  We just completed another song in which Nate is also producing... We'll post it soon!!
